Chief of Enforcement

The Enforcement Division is headed by Chief George Blair.

Chief Blair is an Arkansas native from Armorel, Arkansas who began his law enforcement career in 1979 as a part time reserve at the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department in Luxora, AR while working full time for the Blytheville Fire Department. As a reserve deputy, law enforcement became a career goal for Blair and in 1984 he began a full time law enforcement career with the Osceola Police Department where he worked until 1988 when he started as an officer with West Memphis Police Department. He worked uniform patrol and served as an narcotic investigator with the Drug Task Force. While at West Memphis Police Department, Chief Blair rose to the rank of Captain before retiring in 2008. After retirement he worked for the Arkansas Highway Police as a patrolman before joining Sheriff Allen at the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department January 1, 2011.
